Taking over as Executive Vice President with responsibility for ZF’s aftermarket division, he will also continue to lead Fleet Solutions, a part of ZF’s Commercial Vehicle Control Systems division, formerly WABCO. Following a number of roles at Valeo, Philippe Colpron started his career at WABCO in 2007 as Strategic Sourcing Director. From 2010 onwards, he took over various management positions. Commenting on Philippe’s new role, Dr. Holger Klein, Member of the ZF Board of Management, responsible for Asia Pacific and India, Car Chassis Technology and Aftermarket, said “The automotive aftermarket is undergoing dramatic changes with evolving customer expectations, acceleration of technological innovations and shifts in competitive power. With Philippe Colpron we gain an experienced, internationally well-known leader, who has swiftly embraced these trends and lives ZF’s vision of safe and sustainable mobility, as well as our technology spearheading digitalisation.” UFI Filters appoints EMEA head Onofrio Defina is now heading up UFI Filters’ European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) Aftermarket division, as Sales and Marketing Aftermarket EMEA Director. Onofrio joined UFI in 2015 as Purchasing Director, progressing to become General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. UFI Filters Group CEO Rinaldo Facchini observed: “The new challenges of the market and the great changes underway in recent months have confronted us with the need for new strategies. On his new appointment, Richard said: “I am truly honoured to be elected President and believe the IAAF represents the very best of our industry. It is important, more than ever, that the industry unites under the Federation as it continues to operate in an environment of a post-Brexit trade deal, legislative changes and the coronavirus pandemic.” IAAF Chief Executive Wendy Williamson added: “Richard’s enthusiasm for the automotive aftermarket and IAAF activities is so important as the entire industry faces its most challenging time.”
